*International mobility in VET (the topic of my PhD dissertation);
*TVET and youth employment, with a particular focus on poverty and inequality (the topic of my current work for the Education For All Global Monitoring Report 2012 on skills development);
*Curriculum issues and the concepts of "competence" and "learning outcomes" in Europe (I worked on that topic until recently and it is still bothering me).
